Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (widely known simply as Goblin) is a legendary, culturally monumental 2016 South Korean fantasy romance drama. The epic story revolves around Kim Shin (played by Gong Yoo), a decorated Goryeo military general who is wrongfully executed and cursed by the Almighty to live forever as an immortal goblin. The only way to end his painful, 900-year-long immortality is to find the "Goblin's Bride", the only human capable of pulling out the invisible sword pierced through his chest.
