Invincible is an adult animated superhero television series that premiered on Amazon Prime Video on March 25, 2021.
The series is based on the Image Comics comic book series of the same name, created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. The show follows Mark Grayson, a teenager who develops superpowers and begins training under his father, Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet.
As Mark transforms into a superhero, he grapples with balancing his personal life and superhero duties. He must prove himself a hero while also confronting a sinister conspiracy that makes him question his father's true nature. Steven Yeun voices Mark Grayson/Invincible, alongside Sandra Oh as Mark's mother and J.K. Simmons as his father.
The second season was divided into two parts, which were released in November 2023 and March-April 2024 respectively. A prequel special, Invincible: Atom Eve, was released in July 2023. The third season is scheduled to premiere on February 6, 2025, and the series has been renewed for a fourth season.
