Move to Heaven is an exceptionally poignant, deeply moving 2021 South Korean slice-of-life drama. Inspired by the non-fiction essay Things Left Behind by a former trauma cleaner, the series centers on Han Geu-ru (played by Tang Jun-sang), a 20-year-old with Asperger syndrome, and his estranged uncle Cho Sang-gu (played by Lee Je-hoon), a cynical ex-convict and underground fighter. Following the sudden passing of Geu-ru's father, Sang-gu reluctantly steps in as his legal guardian. Together, they run "Move to Heaven", a trauma cleaning service that clears out the belongings of the deceased. In doing so, they uncover the untold stories, final wishes, and hidden messages left behind by the departed, delivering closure to their grieving loved ones.
