The Fall of the House of Usher is an American horror miniseries created, written, and directed by Mike Flanagan. It is based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe, and is loosely inspired by the works of Shirley Jackson. The series premiered on Netflix on October 12, 2023.
The series stars Frank Langella and Carla Gugino as Roderick and Madeline Usher, two siblings who have built a pharmaceutical company into an empire of wealth, privilege, and power. However, their world begins to crumble when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying mysteriously.
