Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is a 1992 American comedy film directed by Chris Columbus and written by John Hughes. It is the second installment in the Home Alone series and stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, who once again finds himself left behind by his family during the Christmas holidays.
In this film, Kevin accidentally boards a plane to New York City while his family heads to Florida.
