Hellboy (2019) is Available in Hindi Dubbed

Hellboy (2019) is a superhero film directed by Neil Marshall, serving as a reboot of the Hellboy franchise based on the Dark Horse Comics character created by Mike Mignola.

The film stars David Harbour in the titular role, alongside Milla Jovovich as the main antagonist Nimue, Ian McShane as Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, and Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio.

The plot follows Hellboy as he struggles with his identity and psyche while attempting to thwart Nimue, a resurrected sorceress who seeks to conquer the world. The story draws inspiration from several comic arcs, including Darkness Calls, The Wild Hunt, and Hellboy in Mexico.

The film opens with a prologue set in ancient times, where Nimue is betrayed and killed by King Arthur and his knights. In the present day, Hellboy is called upon by the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.) to confront Nimue's resurrection and her plans to unleash chaos on humanity. Alongside his allies—Alice and Daimio—Hellboy embarks on a quest filled with supernatural battles against various mythical creatures.

Hellboy premiered on April 9, 2019, and was released in theaters on April 12. It received largely negative reviews from critics, who criticized its inconsistent tone, story execution, and excessive gore. However, some praised the makeup effects and performances, particularly those of Harbour and Jovovich. The film grossed approximately $55.1 million against a production budget of around $50 million, marking it as a box office disappointment.

Despite its flaws, Hellboy (2019) aimed to provide a darker and more violent interpretation of the character compared to Guillermo del Toro's earlier films. It explores themes of destiny, acceptance, and the struggle between good and evil within Hellboy himself. Overall, while it attempted to appeal to fans of the comics with its R-rated content and mythological elements, it struggled to resonate with both critics and audiences.
