Newtopia is a South Korean romantic fantasy television series that premiered on February 7, 2025, and is available on Coupang Play and Amazon Prime Video in select areas.
Directed by Yoon Sung-hyun and co-written by Han Jin-won and Ji Ho-jin, the series is set against the backdrop of a zombie outbreak in South Korea.
The story follows Kang Yeong-ju, an office worker, and Lee Jae-yoon, a soldier, a recently broken-up couple attempting to rekindle their relationship. However, a zombie apocalypse throws their plans into disarray. Amidst the unfolding chaos, they must navigate the zombie-infested city and fight to reunite. The series stars Park Jeong-min as Lee Jae-yoon, Jisoo as Kang Young-ju, and features a supporting cast including Im Sung-jae, Hong Seo-hee, Tang Jun-sang, Lee Hak-joo, and Kim Junhan.
