Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009) is an incredibly moving drama film directed by Lasse Hallström. The movie is an American adaptation of the legendary, true story of Hachikō—a faithful Akita dog who became a national symbol of loyalty in 1920s Japan after waiting for his deceased owner at a train station every day for nearly a decade.
