Miami Supercops (1985), also known in Italian as I poliziotti dell’8ª strada, is an action-comedy directed by Bruno Corbucci and starring Terence Hill and Bud Spencer. It was their final non-Western film together, marking the end of an era for the duo’s crime-comedy adventures.
The story begins with a Detroit bank robbery in which only one of the criminals is caught and imprisoned. After serving his sentence, he is released but soon found dead in Miami. Two FBI agents—Doug Bennet (Terence Hill) and Steve Forest (Bud Spencer)—are sent undercover as Miami police officers to track down the remaining robber and recover the missing $20 million.
