2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) is an American action film directed by John Singleton and the second installment in the blockbuster Fast & Furious franchise. The story focuses on disgraced former LAPD officer Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), who has relocated to Miami after the events of the first film. When caught by federal agents, he is offered a deal to clear his record if he goes undercover to take down a powerful, Miami-based drug lord. Brian agrees on the condition that he can choose his partner, recruiting his estranged childhood friend and ex-con, Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson).
